What roast is a house blend?
It is a dark roast, but don’t be put off if you like your coffee on the weaker side. While it is strong it can be poured at different lengths and strengths without having to compromise on taste, it’s a crowd pleaser.
What is Java Bar Espresso’s premium house coffee blend?
The exact blend maintains a protected secret, but we can tell you the regions in which our blend of four beans comes from. One region is Indonesia, as you probably could’ve guessed, and the other being Africa. Africa is the flavour, chocolatey notes. Indonesian beans bring the power (the oomf).

How do I make the perfect coffee?
We recommend 7g per single shot of coffee and looking for a pour time between 22 and 24 seconds. 30 ml per shot of coffee should come out.
Can I use your ground coffee in my espresso machine?
Yes, but make sure that you select our Espresso Grind packs when you order.
Can I use your ground coffee in my cafetiere/ french press?

What does your coffee taste like?

How much caffeine is in your decaffeinated espresso grind coffee?
Decaffeinated coffee isn’t entirely caffeine-free, but it contains significantly less caffeine than regular coffee, typically around 2-15 mg per 8-ounce cup, compared to 95 mg in regular coffee.
Why do I need to warm up my cup, cafetiere or french press before making a coffee?
A cold cup kills coffee! Warm your cup, cafetiere or french press every time, it makes all the difference.
What ingredients are in your coffee?
Just Roasted Coffee Beans, nothing else.
How do I store it after opening?
Simply use the resealable pack you have purchased or transfer to an airtight container.

How do I make your Premium Italian Hot Chocolate?
Pour 12oz of full fat or plant based milk into a steaming jug, add 35g/1 heaped dessert spoon of hot chocolate powder and steam with steam wand, on full, at 45 degree angle up to 80C and serve.
Alternatively, heat milk to just below boiling point, add 35g of hot chocolate powder and stir until dissolved.
